POONCH, Mar 10: Mandi police seized 74 bags of Govt (RDD) cement and arrested three persons including an employee of the RDD in Mandi area of Poonch this evening.
Reports said that acting on a tip- off, a Mandi Police party led by SI Shakeel Ahmed, conducted raid and seized two Tata Mobile vehicles along with 74 bags of cement. It had been pilferaged from RDD store in Mandi area. The police seized vehicle No. JK-12/ 6188 and another one without number.
Three persons arrested are -GRS of BDO office in Mandi area, Ishtiaq Ahmed, resident of Baila, Showkat Ali from Baila and Khursheed Ahmed from Chhamber. A case FIR No. 19/ 2017 has been registered at Mandi Police Station against them. Further investigation was in progress.
