JAMMU Nov 14: In a major reshuffle, the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh today ordered the transfer and posting of 71 Judicial Officers including Principal District & Sessions Judges, Additional District Judges, Chief Judicial Magistrates and Civil Judges (Senior and Junior Division).

As per the order, Yash Paul Bourney, Principal District and Sessions Judge Jammu has been transferred and posted as Member, J&K Special Tribunal, Jammu on deputation basis against the vacant post. Ravinder Nath Wattal, Principal District and Sessions Judge Samba has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Jammu.
Mohinder Kumar Sharma, Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice, has been posted as Registrar General of the High Court while retaining additional charge as Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice. Jeema Bashir, Presiding Officer MACT Srinagar, has been repatriated and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Bandipora.
Haq Nawaz Zargar, Special Judge Anti-Corruption Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Srinagar replacing Tasleem Arief, who will now serve as Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar.
Sonia Gupta, Director J&K Judicial Academy, has been transferred and posted as Special Judge Anti-Corruption Jammu, while Naseer Ahmed Dar, Additional District & Sessions Judge Baramulla, has been transferred and his services have been placed at the disposal of the Chief Justice for his posting as Director, J&K Judicial Academy.
Kalpana Revo, Presiding Officer, Labour and Industrial Tribunal has been posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge (PD&SJ) Udhampur with effect from January 1, 2026, and until then will serve as District Judge Leave Reserve Jammu.
Khalil Ahmed Chowdhary, PDSJ Bandipora has been transferred and posted as PDSJ Reasi against the vacant post. Ashwani Kumar Sharma, PDSJ Poonch has been transferred and posted as PDSJ Samba. Ajay Kumar Gupta, Principal Judge Family Court Jammu, has been posted as PD&SJ Ramban from December 1, while serving until November 30 as Registrar Inspection, Srinagar.
Naushad Ahmad Khan, One Man Forest Authority has been posted as 2nd Additional District & Sessions Judge Srinagar. Sandeep Kour, Registrar Judicial Jammu has been transferred and posted as Principal Judge, Family Court Jammu. Anoop Kumar Sharma, Registrar Computers (IT) has been posted as 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge Jammu.
Amit Sharma, 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge Jammu has been posted as District Judge, Leave Reserve Jammu. Yash Pal Sharma, Special Judge NDPS Jammu has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Udhampur with effect from January 1, 2026. Till December 31, 2025, the officer shall work as Member Secretary, Ladakh Legal Services Authority on deputation basis against the vacant post.

Manoj Parihar, PDSJ Leh has been transferred and posted as Presiding Officer Labour and Industrial Tribunal. Spalzes Angmo, PDSJ Kargil has been posted as PD&SJ Leh.

Arun Kumar Kotwal, District Judge Leave Reserve has been transferred and posted as One Man Forest Authority. Faizan-ul-Haq Iqbal, Additional Sessions Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar has been transferred and his services have been placed at the disposal of Chief Justice for his posting as Registrar Rules. Swati Gupta, 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge Srinagar has been transferred and her services have been placed at the disposal of Chief Justice for her posting as Registrar Judicial. Rafiq Hassan, Additional District and Sessions Judge Ganderbal has been posted as Presiding Officer, Fast Track Court Kulgam.
