7 injured in mishaps

Srinagar, Dec 18: Police today said that seven persons were injured in separate road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said that a Tavera bearing registration number JK01V-3913 collided with a Chevrolet Spark car bearing registration number JK15A-8687 at Kawoosa Khalisa in Magam area of Budgam district, resulting in injuries to one lady namely Fareeda. The injured was shifted to Public Health Care Narbal for treatment, he said, adding that the police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said that an LP 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK16-5471 driven by Muzaffar Ahmad Rather hit and injured a pedestrian namely Naseema at Beeham Chowk in Ganderbal district. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Ganderbal for treatment where from she was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said that a motorcycle ridden by Faizan Fayaz Mir hit and injured three pedestrians namely Riyaz Ahmad Dar, Uza-Shan and Shabir Ahmad Sheikh near Akash Institute in Rajbagh area of the summer capital here. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said that an unknown I-10 car hit and injured two pedestrians namely Mohammad Aqib Khan and Waseem Ahmad Malla at Chamkhan Seer in Tarzoo area of Sopore in Baramulla district. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment where from they were referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
