7 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, May 14: Seven persons were injured in different road traffic accidents across Kashmir valley.
A police spokesperson said that a Tractor bearing Chasis No. 51606160774 hit and injured two pedestrians Ghulam Qadir Bhat, 70, son of Abdul Rehman and his wife Fazi of Ban at Ban, Kulgam. A case has been registered in this regard.  The duo was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Maruti car bearing registration No. JK03C/7839 driven by Adil Ahmad Nanda of Nai Basti hit and injured two pedestrian Waheeda Jan wife of Bilal Ahmad Zargar of Sheerpora and Roomi Jan wife of Feroz Ahmad Khan of Andoo Nowgam at Reshi Bazar, Anantnag. Both the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
An unidentified vehicle on way from Srinagar to Anantnag hit a Maruti car bearing registration No. JK03C/7083 driven by Mohammad Maqbool Bhat son of Ghulam Hassan of Sethar at Halmullah, Anantnag, resulting in injuries to the Maruti Car driver. The injured has been shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bijbehara for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tavera bearing registration No. JK01T/4425 driven by Abdul Rashid Wani of Umar Colony Lal Bazaar, Srinagar hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Rashid Chohan son of Shams-ud-Din of Ganiwani Kunzar at Druroo, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Bolero bearing registration No. JK02A/1604 on way from Uri to Baramulla driven by Abdul Majid Wani of Bemina Srinagar hit and injured a pedestrian Fareed Ahmad Khatana son of Ikhlaq Ahmad of Rajouri near Sheeri Market, Baramulla. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
