JAMMU, Feb 10: The 661st Jayanti of Bawa Lal Jee was celebrated with religious fevour and gaiety here today.
Thousands of devotees from different parts of Jammu region thronged the Baba Jee’s Temple at Jain Bazaar here from early this morning to pay obeisance to this great spiritual saint of medieval India on his Jayanti.
The function started from yesterday with Akhand Path of Ram Charit Manas and Bhog was also performed by the devotees in the temple during the morning.
A special Aarti was also performed and a milk cake was also offered under the lotus feet of Baba Jee by the devotees.
The function as usual was organized by Baba Lal Dwar Mandir Committee led by Suman Chadda.
The devotees were served Langar which started from the morning and culminated late in the night. The rush of devotees also swelled during the day. However the Committee had made elaborate arrangements for the devotees.
The Bhajan Kirtan and Satsang continued in the temple premises since yesterday.
