JAMMU, Aug 17: The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Sandeep Mehta, has ordered the transfers and posting of 16 police officers, posting six of them as Station House Officers (SHOs) in different areas of the district.
As per an order, Inspector Mohammad Farooq, SHO Women Police Station Doda, has been transferred and posted as SHO Gandoh, Inspector Sandeep Parihar has been transferred from SOG Thathri and posted as SHO Thathri, and Inspector Zulafqar Ali has been transferred from SOG Doda and posted as SHO Dessa.
The order further said that Inspector Surinder Vir Singh Chib has been transferred from DPL Doda and posted as SHO Cyber Police Station Doda in addition to his own duties, Inspector HM Shahnawaz Giri, SHO Gandoh, has been transferred and posted as SHO Women Police Station Doda, and Inspector Rakesh Bandral has been transferred from Cyber Police Station Doda and posted as SHO Assar on arrival from special duty. Until then, PSI Rohit Sharma shall act as incharge SHO Assar.
Meanwhile, the SSP Doda has also transferred 10 other PSI ranked police officers.
