RAJOURI, Apr 28: The Army today recovered six packets (one kg each) of narcotic substance from Jhangar area of Nowshera sector.
Official sources said that an Army patrol noticed six packets hidden in the bushes near the Line of Control near Sarya village today at around 1230 hrs. The soldiers of 16 MLI informed seniors and then shifted this consignment apparently smuggled from Pakistani side to their unit.
The matter was later referred to local police. This white powder type 6 kg consignment is said to be heroin worth crores in the international market. Further, investigation has been launched.
