UDHAMPUR, June 13: Six persons were injured in three different road accidents across Udhampur district, here today.
A Truck bearing registration number PB11VF-8850, rolled down in a deep gorge near Darsu resulting into serious injuries to its driver and two others. Locals and police rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to Udhampur District Hospital. The injured were identified as Paramjeet Singh (27) son of Baldev Singh, Rupinder Singh (30) son of Khil Singh and Mohan Lal (35) son of Des Raj, all of Raj Pura Patiala, Punjab.
In another road accident, a pedestrian was hit by a Scooty near DC office. The injured, identified as Balwant Singh (58) son of Dewan Singh of ward number 7 Garian Talab Udhampur, was shifted to hospital where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu.
A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were injured when their bike skidded-off the road near MH Chowk on National Highway. The injured were identified as Ajay (18) son of Balbir Singh of Shiv Nagar Udhampur and Rakesh (18) of Sambal Udhampur.
