JAMMU, July 10: Security forces today recovered a cache of arms and ammunition including six hand grenades and two pistols during a search operation at village Khanetar Top in Poonch district.

Police, Special Operations Group (SOG), and the Army launched a joint search operation in general area of Khanetar and adjoining areas in Poonch district today, the officials said.
At around 4.20 PM, the team recovered a cache of arms, ammunition and explosive items from Churun Gali in Khanetar Top belt.

The recovery included two pistols with magazines, six grenades, 24 rounds, three IEDs, one UBGL (a grenade launcher) and a watch.
