JAMMU, Apr 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has promoted six Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) of the General Cadre to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) and 5 Inspectors of the Ministerial Cadre to the rank of DySP with immediate effect.
Those promoted as SP are Abdul Raqeeb Malik, Shwetambri Sharma, Hamid Ali Banday, Abdul Maajid Magray, Mir Burhan Ul Haq Kanth, and Sajad Sarwer.
Similarly, those promoted as DySP are Fida Hussain Sheikh, Farooq Ahmad Naikoo, Mohammad Farooq Mir, Manzoor Hussain, and Abdul Rashid Mir.
