JAMMU, Mar 28: Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs today appointed six Advocates as Law Officers in the Jammu and Srinagar Wings of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
As per the order, Advocate Meharban Singh has been appointed as Additional Advocate General, Advocate Meenakshi Slathia as Deputy Advocate General and Anishwar Chatterji Koul as Government Advocate in the Jammu Wing of the High Court.
Similarly, Advocate Shabaz Sikandar Mir has been appointed as Additional Advocate General and Advocates Tariq Ahmad Lone and G N Sofi as Deputy Advocate General in the Srinagar wing of the High Court.
They have been appointed for a period of one year which shall be extended subject to satisfactory performance.
