56th Shat Chandi Mahayagya begins with grand Kalash Yatra at Baba Sidhgoria Dham

JAMMU, Aug 21: The 56th Shat Chandi Mahayagya commenced today at Baba Sidhgoria Dham, Paloura, with a grand Jal/Kalash Yatra that filled the atmosphere with spiritual fervor and devotion.
Under the guidance of Mahant Kuldeep Singh, Paloura Wale, the sacred procession witnessed an overwhelming participation of devotees.
Women devotees carried holy Kalash on their heads as the yatra began from the Dham and proceeded up to the canal near BSF Paloura, before returning to the shrine, marking the auspicious beginning of the 11-day festival.
The day’s rituals included the Mandal Pujan and Yagya from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The Mahayagya, Hawan Pujan and Sant Sammelan will continue from August 21 to August 31, 2025, offering devotees an immersive spiritual experience.
A key highlight of the festival will be the discourse on the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha by the revered Mahant Shri Dr Satyanarayan Das Ji Maharaj.
The Katha will be held daily from August 25 to August 31, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The festival is expected to draw thousands of devotees in the coming days, turning Baba Sidhgoria Dham into a vibrant center of faith and devotion.
