SRINAGAR, Sept 19: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, today said that 5,500 fruit-laden trucks have moved towards Jammu and beyond over the last two days via the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway and Mughal Road.
“In the last two days, nearly 5,500 fruit trucks have been evacuated. Similarly, the movement of vehicles carrying essentials is also being facilitated,” he told reporters here.
On the supply of essential commodities, including LPG and fuel, Garg said that upward movement of supplies has been ensured since morning.
He assured that the shortage of petrol being faced in some areas would be addressed.
