5 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Nov 6: Police today said five persons were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said a vehicle bearing registration number JK01M-4745 hit and injure lady pedestrian namely Dilshada near playground in Lal Bazaar area . “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman said.
He said a Swift car bearing registration number JK03D-5732 driven by Altaf Ahmad and a Maruti vehicle bearing registration number JK01G-6933 driven by Abdul Aziz Dalal met with an accident at Poterwal, resulting in injuries to Maruti driver. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman said.
The police spokesman said a Sumo vehicle bearing registration number JK03-6305 driven by Shabir Ahmad Dar collided with a Scooty bearing registration number JK18A-0648 driven by Murtaza, resulting in injuries to Scooty rider and pillion mate namely Rayees Ahmad Thokar. “Both the injured persons were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said an Eco van bearing registration number JK05E-4155 and an Auto load carrier bearing registration number JK05A-0208 collided at Badyari Ashtangoo in Bandipora district, resulting in injuries to Auto driver Ghulam Rasool Tantary. “The injured driver was shifted to Bone & Joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard,” he said.
