JAMMU, Aug 20: Five individuals were injured in separate road accidents in Jammu district today.
One Mir Shafi Kamal (35) of Kolkata at present Nanak Nagar, Jammu sustained injuries when the bike he was riding hit another bike near his current place of residence, a police official said.
Another individual, identified as Sahiba Bhat (27) son of Ramzan Bhat of Dalpatian Mohalla got injured after falling from a bike near Sidhra area, he said.
At Channi Himmat area, two individuals, identified as Vikrant (35) son of Kishore Singh of Kangra at present Channi Himmat and Ravinder (35) son of Sita Ram of Bihar at present Channi Himmat, suffered injuries due to collision of two bikes, the police official said.
According to him, one Amit Sharma (43) son of late Shiv Kumar of Old Rehari was injured at Gandhi Nagar due to the collision of two bikes.
All the injured were separately shifted to Government Medical College Jammu, where they were responding to the treatment by the time of filing of this report.
Meanwhile, police have registered separate cases under the relevant sections of the law at concerned police stations and started further investigations into the matters.
