REASI, Nov 3: Five persons were injured in two separate road accidents, here today.
Reports said that a concrete mixer vehicle (Millar) rolled down into a gorge near Railway Tunnel number 12 at Dharote area on Kanthan – Khanikote road in which 4 local workers engaged in Railway construction work got injured.
The injured workers were shifted to District Hospital Reasi and their condition was stated to be stable. They were identified as Sonu Sharma, resident of Kouri; Mohan Lal, resident of Kanthan; Parveen Kumar, resident of Dharmatha and Vijay Singh, resident of Salal.
In another accident near Nau Deviya on Katra – Reasi road, an Auto-rickshaw bearing registration number JK20- 8730 collided with a car JK02DE 8372, resulting into serious injuries to the Auto driver, identified as Rinku Kumar, son of Kaka Ram, resident of Kotli, Reasi. He was shifted to CHC Katra where doctors referred him to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
