RAJOURI, Apr 15: Five persons were injured when a tanker and a passenger bus met head on collision near Tain bridge in Nowshera area late last evening.
Official sources said that a bus bearing registration number JK02AB-2351 stopped for boarding off some passengers just closer to Tain bridge. Suddenly, a tanker coming from the other side hit the bus. At least five persons were injured in the collision.
The injured were identified as Rajinder Kumar (42), resident of Nowshera; Munir Hussain (48), son of Makhan Din from Nowshera; Mithun Bhardwaj, son of Madan Lal from Nowshera; Fazal Ahmed (23), son of Mohd Bashir from Nowshera; Achhe Babu from UP and Mobin, son of Mikhu from UP. All the injured were shifted to SDH Nowshera. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
