5 injured as JCB rolls down

UDHAMPUR, Sept 7:  Five persons were injured when a JCB rolled down into deep gorge at Upper Damk, village Rassain Katwalta in tehsil Ramnagar.
Locals and police shifted the injured persons to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where two of them were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu.
The injured were identified as Satya Devi (40),  wife of Dewan Chand of Rasain Ramnager, her two children 17 years old Gopal Dass and 10 year old Prinka Devi, Mohan Lal (17),  son of Darshan Kumar of Rasain and JCB driver Sohan Lal (21),  son of Shankar Dass of Surni Ramnager.
Driver Sohan Lal and Satya Devi have been shifted to GMC Hospital Jammu.
After the accident, BMO Ramnagar sent an ambulance to the accident site but due to bad condition of the road, the ambulance got stuck at Majua.
Meanwhile, a youth namely Ravi Kumar (22), son of Ram Pal of Salmerhi, Udhampur, attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his house.  He was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his serious condition.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection.
