SRINAGAR, Jan 10: Five residential houses were gutted when fire broke out in them in North Kashmir’s two districts.
A police spokesman said fire broke out in the residential house of Mohammad Akbar Mughal son of Hakim Din of Semari, Karnah in Kupwara district, and engulfed other adjacent four houses, resulting in their damage.
During the intervening night of Thursday, fire broke out in the three-storied joint residential house of Khazir Mohammad, Ashiq Hussain and Mohammad Yousuf sons of Ghulam Ahmad Magray of Dogripora, Rafiabad, Sopore in Baramulla district.
The house was completely damaged in the incident.
The spokesman said no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.
