JAMMU, Apr 10: Khour police arrested five gamblers along with Rs 2185 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Khour police station conducted raid and nabbed five gamblers along with Rs 2185 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Joginder Singh, son of Barinda Singh, Balwan Singh, son of Sahib Singh, Des Raj, son of Dharam Chand, Ashwani Singh, son of Joginder Singh and Bhushan Kumar, son of Sham Lal, all residents of Khour.
A case under Gambling Act has been registered at Khour police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Khour SI Mohammad Iqbal Chagatta made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Gurvinderpal Singh and Additional SP Rural Arun Gupta.
