JAMMU, Jan 2: Jammu and Kashmir Police today awarded the Director General of Police’s Commendation Medal and Certificate to 478 police personnel, three of them holding the rank of Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs).
AS per an order, the SSP ranked officers who have been awarded the DGP’s Commendation Medal and Certificate are Gurinderpal Singh, SSP Baramulla; Anayat Ali Choudhary, SSP Kulgam, and Gaurav Sikarwar, SSP Rajouri.
Additional SP Baramulla Hariprasad KK, Additional SP Anantnag Kartik Shrotriya, SP Ops Border and Kandi Kathua Mukund Tiberwal, SDPO Nehru Park Vaibhav Meena, SP SOG Srinagar Tanweer Ahmad Dar, Additional SP Bhaderwah Vinod Kumar, Additional SP Hq Doda Mohammad Aslam, SP(M) Latif Ahmed are among the other SP and Additional SP ranked officers who received the honour.

Among the DySP ranked officer receiving the DGP’s Commendation Medal and Certificate are Mohammad Yesser Parrey, Bhupinder Kumar, Zakir Shaheen Mirza, Arif Hussain Malik, Faizan Ali, Rohit Kumar, Mohammd Ashrif, Shakir Hassan, Mubashir Niaz, Vikram Nag, Rajeev Raina, Raj Kumar Koul, Bhuttu Choudhary, Mohammad Amin Gatoo, Tariq Ahmad Sofi, Vijay Kumar Bhagat, Farhana Farooq, and Nadiya Farooq.
Similarly, the Inspector ranked officers receiving the honour are Mohammad Shafi, Jatinder Singh, Sukhbir Singh, Parmodh Singh, Ravinder Kumar, Jaipaul Singh, Varuneshwar Singh, Sandeep Singh Chib, Zahir Mushtaq, Surinder Singh Nagra, Javed Hussain, Mohmmad Rashad, Manpreet Singh, Chander Bhushan, Ankush Jyoti, Asif Iqbal, Shabir Ahmad Beig, and Nadeem Akber.
Sixteen Sub-Inspector ranked officers also received the DGP’s Commendation Medal and Certificate.
They are Ashok Kumar, Balwant Singh, Raminder Singh Sambyal, Vijay Kumar, Mohammad Ishtaq Gujar, Shabir Ahmad, Ajay Kumar, Parvaiz Ahmad, Mohammad Shafi, Pardeep Singh, Mohammad Hussain, Javaid Maqbool Wani, Rayees Ahmad, Aeraf Neyaz Dar, Pranav Dogra, and Abhinandan Singh.
Among the PSI ranked officers who received the honour are Jeet Lal, Ajaz Khan, Sushil Kumar, Arjun Singh, Darshan Singh, Ajesh Singh Jamwal, Nitish Khajuria, Arun Sharma, Rohit Kumar Bhagat, Rakshit Sharma, Rajat Kotwal, Rajat Sahani, Varun Sharma, Manveer Singh, Simranjeet Singh, Rahul Sharma, Rajesh Kumar Saryal, Rajat Kumar, Rohit Manmar, Aman Sharma, and Anil Manhas.

Among the recipients of the honour are forty-three Head Constable (HC) ranked officials as well.
