Addressing media persons at DPL here today, the SSP Jammu clarified that the reduction of 288 cases was the result of strong preventive measures such as PSA and PIT-NDPS detentions, effective bail contesting, bail cancellation appeals, proactive policing, 208 preliminary enquiries under Section 175 BNSS, and sustained deployments during Operation Sindoor and flash-flood duties.
