UDHAMPUR, July 4: In a shocking incident, a four – year old girl was allegedly raped by a boy of 16 years in village Kela, under the jurisdiction of Ramnagar Police Station.
Acting swiftly, Police have arrested the accused, who is a local and resident of village Kela Ramnagar. A case has been registered in this connection at the Police Station Ramnagar under the relevant sections of POCSO Act.
The victim was sent to the Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for medical examination while Police have started further investigations into the case.
Reports said that the victim was alone in the house when the heinous act was committed by the accused, who is a relative of the former.
