UDHAMPUR, Sept 20: Four vehicles, including three speeding cars, were collided inside Chenani Nashri Tunnel, causing injuries to four persons today.
Official sources said that a truck No. JK22A/2465 and three cars bearing registration numbers- JK17/3378, JK17/2903 and JK19/3378 collided inside Nashri-Chenani Tunnel today.
Four persons were injured in the accident and they were shifted to SDH Chenani. They were identified as Pooja Devi, daughter of Dowali Ram, Dowali Ram, son of Sain Dass, Romi Devi, wife of Dowali Ram, residents of Batote and Sangeeta, wife of Sanjay Pochal, resident of Kishtwar. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, one person was injured after a truck- trailer No. PB11AX/9917 fell into a deep gorge at Nau Devian near Katra today. Driver of the vehicle Balbir Singh, son of Devi Singh, resident of Govindsar, Kathua was said to be killed on the spot. The dead body was shifted to Katra hospital.
