Srinagar, May 2: Authorities today said that four unregistered dental laboratories have been sealed across the district.
The action, according to officials, was taken during an inspection drive conducted on April 29 and 30.
A team from the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Anantnag, led by the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, carried out surprise inspections.
During the drive, four unregistered dental laboratories were identified and immediately sealed, officials said.
“The administration has a zero-tolerance policy towards unlicensed medical practices; hence the action,” they added.
They further stated that the inspections aimed to identify establishments operating without proper registration and violating healthcare norms.
The Chief Medical Officer has directed inspections of various clinical establishments in the district to ensure strict adherence to medical standards and legal requirements.
