JAMMU, Aug 2: The Government today promoted four Incharge Superintending Engineers as I/C Chief Engineers while six Chief Engineers were transferred and posted in PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department today.
Those promoted as I/C Chief Engineers are – Kishore Kumar Gupta, Varinder Raina, Ashok Kumar Gandotra and Rajinder Kumar Gupta.
Consequent upon the above promotions, placements / transfers of six I/C Chief Engineers were ordered.
Rajiv Gandotra, incharge Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control Jammu has been transferred and posted as I/C Chief Engineer RTIC, Jammu. He will take over the charge on retirement of H C Jerath on August 31, 2017.
P N Bali, Director ERA has been shifted placed as I/C Chief Engineer, I&FC , Jammu vice Rajeev Gandotra; Ashok Kumar Gandotra I/C SE UEED on promotion has been placed as Chief Engineer PHE Jammu; Kishore Kumar Gupta after promotion has been placed as I/C Chief Engineer DICQ Jammu; Varinder Raina Joint Commissioner (Works) SMC on being promoted has been placed as I/C CE CVPP while Rajinder Kumar Gupta on being promoted has been posted as I/C Chief Engineer/ Director ERA vice Mr Bali.
