KATHUA, Aug 9: The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Kathua, Shobhit Saksena, has ordered the transfers and postings of 23 officers, four among them probationer Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) and six Inspectors among other officers.
As per an order, DySP (probationer) Yawar Nissar Khan has been transferred from Police Station Malhar and posted at ESU Kathua as incharge, DySP(P) Nitish Sharma has been transferred from Police Station Bani and posted at SOG Lacchipur, DySP(P) Geetanjali has been transferred from Police Station Basohli and posted at SOG Hiranagar, and DySP(P) Taranjeet Singh has been transferred from Police Station Rajbagh and posted at SOG Machhedi.
The order said that Inspector Tribhawan Khajuria has been transferred from Police Station Lakhanpur and posted as SHO Basohli, Inspector Tariq Ahmed has been transferred from DPO Kathua and posted as SHO Lakhanpur, Inspector Rakesh Singh has been transferred from DPL Kathua and posted at DPO Kathua as incharge Crime Section, Inspector Surinder Raina has been transferred from DPL Kathua and posted as SHO Bani, Inspector Vishal Dogra has been transferred from Police Station Anti-Human Trafficking Unit Incharge ADU and posted at DPL Kathua, and Inspector Sajjad Mughal has been transferred from DPL Kathua and posted as SHO Police Station Anti-Human Trafficking Unit and Incharge Special Anti-Drug Unit.
The SSP Kathua has also transferred 13 other police officers in the district.
