JAMMU, Jan 10: JKPCC president Tariq Hameed Karra has approved the names of senior party leaders Ravinder Sharma, Ved Mahajan, Namrata Sharma and Mohd. Iqbal Dar to oversee ‘MGNREGA Bachao Sangram’ activities in Jammu province.
The decision was taken on the directions of AICC leadership. These four JKPCC leaders would coordinate with the War Room of All India Congress Committee (AICC), with immediate effect.
Karra also approved the list of observers and coordinators to strengthen organisation at block and district level and also to supervise, monitor and coordinate the ongoing ‘MGNREGA Bachao Sangram’ and Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq’ movement for restoration of statehood in their assigned districts.
