KATHUA, Aug 10: The police arrested four persons and recovered some heroin and smack from their possession last night.
A police spokesman said that acting on a specific information, a police party led by SI Mohd Akhtar Lone intercepted two persons and after their searches and also at home recovered 9 gms smack and some heroin. They were looking for some customers and police after receiving information nabbed both of them. Identified as Ravinder Singh Lovely, son of Surjeet Singh of Shiva Nagar and Amandeep Singh, son of Bhopinder Singh of Ward No. 13, a case has been registered against them.
The police also intercepted two youth riding on a bike and recovered 56 gms smack from them. Both were arrested and a case was registrered against them. They were identified as Amar Pal Singh, son of Maan Singh of Lachhipur and Anupartap Singh, son of Jai Singh resident of Ward No. 6 Kathua.
