4 labourers injured in accident

RAMBAN, Feb 20: Four labourers were injured, when the dumper vehicle they were traveling in, skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Sumber area, falling under the jurisdiction of Dhramkund Police Station.
As per police sources, four labourers engaged with Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) for the construction of rail tunnels connecting Banihal with Udhampur, were injured, when the dumper vehicle they were travelling in, skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Sumber area.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to nearby hospital, from where they were later referred to District Hospital Ramban. Their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The injured have been identified as Rajinder Singh, Nayeem Khan, Kulbeer Singh (vehicle operator) and Sonu Kumar.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Dhramkund Police Station and investigation started.
