Srinagar : Four protesters were killed and 7 others injured when security forces fired at a violent mob in Central Kashmir district of Budgam this morning taking death toll in over a month long violence to 64.
A mob this morning pelted stones on Police and CRPF at Aripanthan in district Budgam and the security forces fired at them killing 4 protesters and injuring 7 others.
Curfew has been imposed this morning in Srinagar and other places after fresh killings. Security forces sealed all entry and exit routes of Srinagar city to prevent fresh clashes.
Last evening a protester was killed in Batmaloo area of Srinagar city triggering massive clashes. One protester who was injured last week in Tangmarg area of Baramulla succumbed to injuries yesterday.
