NOWSHERA, Apr 2: A road accident occurred at Bagnoti under the jurisdiction of Police Post Lamberi, in which four persons sustained injuries after a vehicle lost control and collided with a roadside parapet.
According to reports, a Baleno car, bearing registration number JK12D-7068, driven by Mohd Sageer, son of Mohd Hanif, resident of Chandak, Poonch, was on its way from Rajal towards Siot when the driver lost control over the vehicle near Bagnoti, resulting in the accident.
In the incident, the driver along with three passengers, namely- Mohd Sadiq, son of Firoz Din; Noor Hussain, son of Hassan Mohd and Taiba Aneesa, daughter of Mohd Sadiq, all residents of Chandak, Poonch, sustained injuries.
A police team led by SHO Nowshera, Inspector Arjun Mangotra, promptly reached the spot and shifted the injured to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Nowshera for immediate medical assistance.
Block Medical Officer Nowshera, Dr Chander Parkash, informed that after administering first aid, all the injured were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for advanced treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
