DODA, Sept 8: Four persons were injured in cylinder blast, which took place inside a readymade shop due to fire near Town Hall here.
As per police sources, fire broke out in readymade shop at Town Hall here today evening probably due to short circuit.
A LPG cylinder kept in the shop also caught fire and exploded, resulting into injuries to four persons and damage to one car parked outside the shop.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to GMC Doda, from where one of the injured was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for specialized treatment.
The injured persons were identified as Khalid Malik, son of Hamid Malik, Firdous Ahmed (owner of the shop), son of Khafatulla and Irshad Ali, son of Ghulam Ali, trio residents of Beoli and Irshad Ahmed, son of Mohammad Ramzan, a resident of Nagri Doda.
Doda Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
