POONCH, June 15: Four youth were injured when two motorcycles collided with each other in Ladi area of Sawjian in Tehsil Mandi of District Poonch today.
Official sources said that it was head on collision between two motorcycles bearing registration numbers, JK02CC-9919 and JK12D-3336, four youth Ifentified as Jameel Ahmed, Waseem Ahmed residents of Kanuyien, Shahid Mehmood, resident of Paralkote and Mohd Imran, resident of Bedar were injured.
Injured were taken to PHC Sawjian, shifted to SDH Mandi after basic treatment there. BMO Mandi, Dr Rayaz Jan said that all were later shifted to DH Poonch for further treatment, Medical Superintendent Dr Shafiq said that one injured namely Jameel Ahmed had head trauma so he was referred to GMC Jammu for advance treatment. All others were treated and kept under observation here in DH Poonch.
Meanwhile, incharge Police Post Sawjian, PSI Rajat Nanawat who went on accident spot along with the team said the cognizance has been taken in this matter.
