RAJOURI, Apr 4: While continuing action against people including in drug peddling and consumption in the district here, the District Administration Rajouri today detained four persons under preventive custody and lodged them in Dangri Jail.
Those detained under preventive custody are- Rajan Gupta alias Laddi, son of Raj Kumar, resident of Kalakote; Arjun Chandan, son of Subhash Chandan of Dhani Dhar; Wasim Shah, son of Tufail Ahmed from Dhani Dhar Rajouri and Mohd Wasim alias Jugnu, son of Nazir Hussain, resident of Bela Colony, Rajouri.
An official spokesman, giving details said that involvement of these persons in the unlawful activities including drug consumption and making other youth of the area drug addicts came to fore through various agencies and local inputs. And on the order of Executive Magistrate, they have been detained and taken into preventive custody for one month.
They have been lodged in Judicial lock up, in District jail. The order was executed by SHO Rajouri, Insp Tahir Khan under the supervision of DySP Headquarters, Jaswant Singh.
