RAJOURI, Apr 22: The police rescued four bovine animals and arrested a smuggler near the main bridge here today.
Acting on a specific information SHO Rajouri, Yashpal Jamwal intercepted the animals when smuggler tried to avoid police naka and started moving on foot from the river side today. The four animals were rescued and the smuggler arrested. He has been identified as Sher Din, son of Babu, resident of Kallar in Rajouri district. A case has been registered against him. The Tata mobile driver escaped with the vehicle on seeing police.
