JAMMU, Nov 3: Gangyal police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 6100 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gangyal Police Station conducted raid in Sector 2 of its jurisdiction and arrested four gamblers along with Rs 6100 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Dev Prashad, son of Digamber Sahu, Ishwer Sahu, son of Bharat Sahu, Naryan Sahu, son of Harihar Sahu and Kishan Sahu, son of Bansi Lal Sahu, all residents of Uttam Nagar Kunjwani.
All the gamblers have been booked under section 13 Gambling Act by Gangyal Police.
Police team led by SHO Gangyal SI Nayat Ali made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Dr Sunniya Ashkoor Wani, SP South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
