KATRA, Feb 4: Katra Police has arrested four persons, who had allegedly assaulted a family in Katra after forcing their entry into the house of victims.
As per Police, the victim Bhag Hussain, son of Altaf Din lodged a written complaint at Police Station that during the intervening night, six persons forced their entry into his house and assaulted him as well as other family members with stones.
In the complaint, the accused were named as Talab Hussain, son of Shaki Mohd, Fatu, son of Sain Mohd of Chamba Bhagta, Qasim , Qayoom son of Bashir Ahmed of Dadura, Zahoor, son of Babu of Chamba and Hanif.
Acting swiftly, Police registered a case under Section 458/147/148/336/323 RPC and succeeded in arrest of four accused, namely Mohd. Hanif of Chak Rakwallan, Talib Hussain of Chamba Chandwa, Karamat Ali of Chamba Chandwa and Mohd. Kasim of Barkhari Chandwa.
