RAJOURI, Feb 21: District administration Rajouri has initiated action against thirty four officials of different departments who were found absent from duty during surprise inspection of thirty Government offices conducted in different areas of Rajouri.
On the directions of DDC Rajouri, Dr. Shahid Iqbal and under the supervision of ADDC Rajouri, AS Chib, district administration Rajouri constituted several teams comprising of officers including Functional Manager DIC Rajouri, BDO Manjakote, ARTO Rajouri, Deputy Director Employment, District Panchayat Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, Tehsildar Rajouri, BDO Rajouri, Chief Medical Officer, Project Manager DIC and AC Development Rajouri. Surprise inspection was conducted in thirty Government offices in Manjakote, Thanamandi, Darhal and Dassal Palullian area.
During inspection several officials were found absent who include one library assistant in Government High School Gambhir Brahmana, one teacher in Government Higher Secondary School Deri Ralyote, four officials in BDO office Darhal, two in Boys Higher Secondary School Darhal, two in Girls Higher Secondary School Darhal, two in ZEO Office Darhal, headmaster and four other teachers in Middle School Reki Baan, nine officials in Government Middle School Keriyan Rajouri, one teacher in High School Ziyarit Sharif, one teacher in Middle School Namblan, doctor and two FMPHWs in PHC Ziyarit Sharif Palullian and one official in DFCO Office in Pathan Morha Rajouri.
Meanwhile, during inspection of Office of Executive Officer and other sections of Municipal Committee Rajouri, only two officials were found present with EO Municipality was also not present in office with no movement register available in office and biometric attendance sheet was also not available. Zonal Education Sports Office Thanamandi was found locked at the time of inspection at 10:30 AM.
Besides absence of these officials, a number of officials were also shown on field duties and deputations who include four from tehsil office Darhal, three from boys higher secondary school Darhal, three from girls higher secondary school Darhal, four from high school Ziyarit Sharif and three from Middle School Namblan. Administration has started process to verify the field duties and deputations of all the officials.
