31 persons injured as mini-bus rolls down

Jammu, Oct 3: Thirty-one persons were injured when the overloaded mini-bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Sagoon area of Surinsar here today.
As per police sources, a mini-bus rolled down into gorge near Sagoon area of Surinsar, resulting into injuries to 31 persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
All the injured persons were rescued and rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where their condition was stated to be out of danger when last reports came in.
The injured persons were identified as Raj Kumari, Ram Singh, Saroj Purey, Meethi, Jatinder Dass, Shiv Kumar, Bishwa Dev Kewat, Dan Kumari, Ganga Sagar, Suraj Yadav, Leela Ram, Pooja, Narinder Kumar, Sita Ram, Udhay, Sonai, Dooj Bai, Punima Yadav, Sumit Kumar, Jaswant Kumar, Usha Bai, Phool Bai, Kamal Prasad, Tesha, Dhaneswar, Aarti, Bhim Shankar, Taniya, Gourav Sharma, Ram Dulari and Beli Ram, all residents of Chattisgarh, at present Bantalab District Jammu.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
