JAMMU, Jan 18: Leh Centre of Services Selection Recruitment Board today conducted written test for the posts of general line teachers in Leh and Jammu centres.
A total of 2000 candidates appeared in Leh centre while as 1000 in Jammu centre. The Jammu centre was set up at Ranjit College of Education, Kunjwani wherein the candidates of Leh studying in Delhi, Punjab, Karnataka, Dehradun and Jammu got the facility to appear in the written test. The Leh centre was set up at Central Institute of Buddhist Studies.
A total of 52 posts of general line teachers are to be filled up.
Deputy Commissioner Leh, Simrandeep Singh visited the Jammu centre to personally take stock of the arrangements made for the Leh candidates studying in different parts of the country and participating in the written test.
