JAMMU, Mar 9: A multispecialty camp was organized at Community Health Centre (CHC) Bani today.
This initiative, supported by MLA Bani, Dr. Rameshwar Singh, and the leadership of Dr. Rakesh Minhas, Deputy Commissioner of Kathua, successfully delivered essential healthcare services to an underserved population. In compliance with the directives of Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Magotra, the camp aimed to provide specialty services to hard-to-reach areas, addressing the significant shortage of medical professionals in these regions.
The multispecialty camp commenced with a remarkable turnout, as approximately 300 patients registered for treatment. The camp featured a range of medical services, active diagnosis, and on-the-spot referrals, ensuring that patients received the immediate attention they required.
Dr. Vijay Raina, Chief Medical Officer of Kathua, and Dr. Dev Raj Mishra, Block Medical Officer of Bani, played pivotal roles in the execution of this event, demonstrating a commitment to improving healthcare access in the region. This multispecialty camp is not just a one-time event; it marks the beginning of a continuous effort to reach out to remote communities in the district.
