JAMMU, Dec 24: Forest Magistrate Srinagar M R Chak has awarded three years imprisonment to Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohd Ashraf Bhat of Khunmoh, Srinagar, who had committed unnatural offence with a child on October 24, 2008.
After hearing both the sides, court observed, “prosecution has proved its case beyond any doubt as a result of which, the accused is convicted under Section 377/511 RPC”. Accordingly, accused was awarded simple imprisonment for a period of three years.
