RAJOURI, Nov 25: The police nabbed three wanted criminals, absconding after committing the offence, for the last over 13 years in Rajouri district.
They were wanted in connection with FIR No. 306/2011. The case was registered under Sections 307, 147, 148, 149, and 323 of the RPC at Police Station, Rajouri against them, the police said.
The absconders have been identified as Parvaiz Ahmed, son of Badir Hussain; Mohd Zamurad, son of Badir Hussain and Mohd Iqbal, son of Lal Din, all residents of Chawa, in Rajouri.
Warrants under Section 512/299 Cr.PC had been issued against them by the Sessions Court, Rajouri.
Following extensive efforts by Rajouri Police these wanted criminals were apprehended and produced before the Court today, in strict compliance with legal procedures.
