Poonch, Sept 3: Continuing its drive against illegal mining activities, Police seized one tipper and two tractor trolleys engaged in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals.
Acting on specific information about illegal mining in the Sanie area, a police team from Police Station Surankote conducted a raid and seized two tractor trolleys loaded with sand. In a separate action, another raid was conducted in the Bafliaz area, where a tipper loaded with sand and gravel was intercepted and seized.
The concerned Mining Department authorities have been informed for further necessary action under law, police said.
