RAJOURI, Dec 20: The police cracked down on the illegal mining in Kandi area of Rajouri and seized three vehicles today.
Reports said the Police team from Kandi, led by SHO Insp Abrar Khan, conducted a special drive today and seized three vehicles carrying minor minerals from the river without proper permissions. The vehicles included a tipper with registration No. JK11-8131, a tractor trolley with registration No. JK11G-4990, and another tractor trolley with chassis No. 1VY5050DTPA068565.
The District Mining Officer (DMO) Rajouri informed that appropriate legal action is being initiated against those involved in these unlawful activities.
