Rajouri, Nov 23: In a prompt and coordinated effort, police traced three missing teenagers from Rajouri district and located them near the Poshana post along the Mughal Road. The youths had reportedly gone missing yesterday, triggering concern among their families and prompting a police search operation.
According to officials, the teenagers were intercepted safely by a team from Poshana post and subsequently placed under the custody of the Station House Officer (SHO) Surankote for necessary legal and safety procedures. The police ensured that the minors were kept in a secure environment while their identities and circumstances were verified.
Authorities immediately informed the parents of all three teenagers. After completing mandatory formalities, counselling, and verification, the police initiated the process to hand them over to their families.
Police officials commended the swift action of all teams involved and reminded the public to report missing cases without delay to enable timely search and rescue efforts.
The families expressed relief and gratitude to the police for tracing the youths and ensuring their safe return.
