3 lottery sellers held for cheating

Srinagar, Feb 20: Police today arrested three lottery sellers for allegedly cheating people within the jurisdiction of police station Sogam in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The officials said that based on a complaint from a woman from Takipora Lolab, the Police arrested three lottery sellers.
“They have been identified as Mehrajudin Shah, Yawar Irshad Malla and Wasim Akram Badroo, all residents of Kulgam, at Tekipora Lolab; they were cheating people in the name of the lottery,” officials said.
In this regard case, they said a case (FIR NO:-03/2021) under section 420 IPC has been registered in Police Station Sogam.
