KISHTWAR, Nov 5: Three persons were killed, when the tipper they were traveling in, skidded off the road and landed into gorge near Nagad Nallah area, here this evening.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK17-2730 was on its way to Paddar from Kishtwar, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into 600 feet deep gorge near Nagad Nallah area, resulting into on the spot death of three persons including driver.
On getting information, police team led by SSP Kishtwar Sandeep Wazir and locals rushed to the spot, retrieved the bodies of the deceased and shifted them to hospital at Padharyna.
The deceased have been identified as Abdul Gani, son of Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad Ashraf, son of Ali Mohammad and Shamasdin (driver), son of Ghulam Rasool, all residents of Padharyna.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to family members for last rites.
A case in this regard has been registered and investigation started.
