JAMMU, May 11: Eight IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre have been cleared for empanelment to the post of Inspector General of Police (IGP).

Among them are three officers from the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre – Vivek Gupta, Sujit Kumar and Suleiman Choudhary.
Alongside them, five other officers from different parts of the AGMUT cadre have also been empanelled. They include Vijay Kumar, Seju Kuruvilla, Nupur Prasad, Meghna Yadav and Surendra Kumar.
